Admission Process

BBA PROGRAMME

CRITERIA

Eligibility
Student achieving 50% or above in any discipline in their HSC or equivalent examinations shall be eligible to apply for admission.

Equivalence
Candidates of foreign boards will be required to produce an Equivalence certificate. However, there will be no downgrading of their grades on the basis of equivalence.

Aptitude test
Eligible students shall be required to pass Aptitude Test.

Interview
After the aptitude test, the candidate will appear for an interview before a Board.

Group Discussion
Group discussion will assess student’s confidence and ability to think fast and coherently.

WEIGHTAGE OF EACH STAGE
The weightage of each stage, the sum of which would be 100%, will be as follows:
(i) Previous Academic Result (HSC or equivalent)                                   30 %
(ii) Aptitude Test                                                                                               40%
(iii) Interview                                                                                                      20%
(iv) Group Discussion                                                                                       10%

For CIBEANS

WEIGHTAGE

  1. For CIBEANS appearing in Aptitude Test (i.e. with HSC score 50% to 64%) the regular weightage applicable to non-
  2. CIBEANS will apply.
    For CIBEANS exempted from appearing in Aptitude Test (i.e. with HSC score 65% and above) the weightage applicable will be as follows:
    Previous Academic Result (HSC or equivalent)                  50 %
    Aptitude Test Result                                                                   00% (being exempt)
    Interview                                                                                       35%
    Group Discussion                                                                        15%

 

SELECTION

The final selection of a candidate depends on the combined rating of the above factors.

APTITUDE TEST

Applicants are required to take the Aptitude Test irrespective of their previous system of education, which provides a fair measure of the candidates’ scholastic attainment as well as an insight into their potential. The test assesses applicants’ skills in the following areas:

  1. English
  2. Mathematics
  3. General Knowledge

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Candidates granted admissions are required to submit the following documents for registration and enrollment. Failing which admission will be cancelled.

  1. Matric / O Level Certificate                                   Attested Photocopy
  2. Intermediate / A Level Certificate                       Attested Photocopy
  3. Intermediate Mark sheet                                      Attested Photocopy
  4. C.N.I.C. or Birth Certificate or B. Form                 Attested Photocopy
  5. Migration Certificate (for Student other than Karachi Board)          Original
  6. Equivalence Certificate (A Level)                                                             Original
  7. Four recent Passport size photographs            Attested on Back side

MBA PROGRAMME

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Candidates must submit attested photocopies of required documents at the time of submission of admission form. A candidate is required to provide:

  1. Attested photocopies of his/her ID card or B-Form.
  2. Mark sheets of bachelor (for Master candidates) degrees
  3. Two passport sized color photographs.


These documents must be attached with the admission form duly and properly filled. Candidates may be asked to produce original documents on demand.
