The Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programme at CIBES provides an intense and demanding academic experience, involving three years of full-time study. The programme has been designed to develop the national as well as global business leaders - individuals who can ameliorate the economy of the country by dint of their leadership. As a general management programme, the curriculum introduces students to the underlying disciplines of management, and provides graduates the flexibility to pursue successful careers in a variety of industries, and across geographical and functional boundaries.
The teaching methodology focuses not only on the professional development of the students but also the development of their moral characters through Value Addition Sessions. During the tenure of three year studies, students attend 30 Value Addition Sessions and several guest speaker sessions which develop in them the ability to make decisions in a broad range of “real-world” situations.
CIBES MBA graduates will be the leaders of tomorrow in all national and multinational companies. The veritably experienced faculty encourages active learning and student participation. They develop a remarkable ability to analyse and apply theoretical frameworks to make quick decisions in challenging and uncertain situations. Indeed, CIBES MBA graduates have a capacity for sustained hard work, for working under pressure and meeting deadlines, for excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and for teamwork; skills which are critical for managers in today’s global economy.
Decisive moments define the CIBES education. Here, everything from campus atmosphere to case studies, from field-based learning to value addition sessions, culminates in one larger lesson — what it means to assume leadership within an ever-growing, ever- hanging world.
Through case method courses, FIELD projects, multimedia simulations, and more, you exercise the leadership skills you will practice in business and beyond. The issues are complex, the stakes high, and the demands challenging. But as a result, you leave CIBES with lessons in leadership that are practical, priceless, and most importantly, real.
